It starts as a balance bike, which helps kiddos who either haven’t been on a bike before or are veteran Strider riders gain confidence and balancing ability on a bigger bike. The performance footrest removes to attach the Easy-Ride Pedal Conversion Kit (sold separately). No need for a stress ball to control your aggravation, installation is quick and easy, we even give you a wrench to screw in the bolt. The Stride-Around narrow pedals allow kids to quickly put their feet down and stride when they need more momentum without bumps and bruises on little shins. Learning to pedal on the same bike you learned balance is a HUGE advantage. Parents can sit back and watch their child’s confidence and excitement skyrocket. It gets better. We know kids grow like crazy, so we designed the 14x with an adjustable seat and handlebars. It will continue to fit them through multiple growth spurts. It is recommended for children ages 3-7 and fits inseams between 40-58 cm (16-23 in.). Your kid will ride around the neighborhood feeling like a superhero after watching you transform their balance bike to a pedal bike at the speed of light (or at least in a few minutes). They’re realizing their skills and freedom with new found confidence and thirst for adventure.
